How to Redeem a Steam Gift Card

First, check your account country

A Steam Gift Card is added to a Steam Wallet from the same country as the card, in the same currency. The card's country is in the product name. Your wallet currency shows in the balance next to your account name.

Also make sure you're signed in to the right account. Steam Wallet funds can't be moved to another account.

How to redeem your code

1. After you complete your order, you'll find your code on the order page and in your email.
2. Sign in to the Steam account you want to top up.
3. Open the Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code page.
4. Enter your code in the Steam Wallet Code field and click Continue. The amount is added to your Steam Wallet balance.

Code not working?

• Wallet currency doesn't match the card: Steam only accepts the card in your wallet's currency. Use it on an account from the card's country.
• Typing error: some characters look alike, such as 0 and O, 1 and I, B and 8, or G and 6.
