How to Redeem an Xbox Gift Card

First, check your account country

Xbox gift cards and Game Pass memberships work on a Microsoft account from the same country as the card. The card's country is in the product name.

Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to top up. Once a code is redeemed, it can't be moved to another account.

How to redeem your code

1. After you complete your order, you'll find your code on the order page and in your email.
2. Go to xbox.com/redeem and sign in with the Microsoft account you want to top up.
3. Enter the 25-character code and select Next.
4. Follow the prompts. The balance is added to your account, or your Game Pass membership starts.

You can also redeem in the Xbox app: select your profile picture, then the gear icon, then Redeem code.

Code not working?

• Account country doesn't match the card: the code is for a Microsoft account from the card's country, so use it on one.
• Asked for a payment method: you may need to add payment info before redeeming. You won't be charged extra when the code is redeemed.
• Code not accepted: make sure you entered all 25 characters correctly.
