How to Redeem an iTunes or Apple Gift Card

First, check your account country

An iTunes or Apple Gift Card only works on an Apple Account from the same country as the card.

How to redeem your code

1. After you complete your order, you'll find your code on the order page and in your email.
2. Open the App Store and tap your photo, initials, or the My Account button. Sign in with your Apple Account if asked.
3. Tap Redeem Code.
4. Tap Enter Code Manually and type in your code.
5. Tap Redeem. The amount is added to your Apple Account balance.

Code not working?

• "Code must be redeemed in a different country or region": your account country doesn't match the card. Use the code on an Apple Account from the card's country.
• "Card is not valid": check that you typed the code correctly. Some letters and numbers look alike, such as O and 0, S and 5, or B and 8.
• "Card has already been redeemed": the balance may already be on your account. Sign out of the App Store on all your devices, then sign back in to refresh your balance.

What you can buy with your balance

• Apps, games, and in-app purchases from the App Store.
• Subscriptions like Apple Music, plus app subscriptions from the App Store.

Some purchases might require a credit card on file, even when you pay with your balance.
